Hey I am Liam Taylor and I am a Canadian broadcasting student at MRU. I am an aspiring sports broadcaster who wants to pursue a career within the game I love soccer (football).  I have a passion for telling peoples stories and for sports. Thinking of what I wanted to do for my career I thought I would put two and two together and here I am. Throughout my studies I have explored my passions and added to my expertise when it comes to sports broadcasting. You may see me a lot in front of the camera showing my lighthearted presence and likeability throughout my projects. This may be the case a lot of the time. I do like to talk after all. However, I do find myself behind the camera from time to time which allows me to create works that highlight unique people and learn the ins and outs of camera operation and editing.

 

Did I mention I like to talk? Well, I have channeled this and my love for the sport of soccer (football) through a podcast I co-create and co-host, On A Yellow. Through this experience I have been able to talk a lot and showcase my skills in on-air presence, editing and storytelling, highlighting the sport I love in an industry that I want to grow within North America.
